It’s been a busy couple weeks home with parents and friends visiting, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Whiskyfest, Fleet Week and all manner of events signifying my favorite season: fall.
Now it’s on to 2 1/2 weeks in my beloved Italy, this time specifically in Sicily — and even more specifically, the Aeolian Islands — where my mother’s roots lie, and thus, some of mine. I can hardly wait.
