Two gorgeous Summer weeks home in SF included a brief couple days north of Napa and a quick stint to Portland, Oregon, to visit Iron Chef (and Top Chef) Gregory Gourdet’s brand new modern Haitian restaurant, Kann, and Bar Sousòl downstairs, in addition to two packed days of PDX research and catch-up (articles forthcoming). Now in a few days, I’m off to my dear Mexico again for a few days’ press trip.
